I would give this recipe a 10 star if offered. I always have to make 2 pies! My husband, who is from New Jersey, eats “HIS” pie and I freeze the other for sharing. The pie is so easy to make so why not make 2? There are more pies to eat in this world other than pecan and apple, right?
I simply love this pie! I made it in August of this year because I saw we had a can of mincemeat in our basement. Because molasses is an acquired taste for many people, my sisters had a harder time than I did, but my grandparents and I are huge fans of this pie!
